Help! Need ideas!

Okay, so this post has two parts.  Any help with either would be very much appreciated.  First…hopefully not too much detail here….I’m having some TOM questions.   Does weightloss make it worse??  I never used to have cramps or tenderness in the upper chest regions, or break out in pimples, or be a psycho from hell….but now WOW…it’s shocking!  The cramps make me double over, I have zits all over my face (and I NEVER broke out, even as a teenager), and I want to kill everything in sight.  As painfully as possible.  Is this the weightloss?  (I’ve also been off BC…but it’s been two months now, it shouldn’t effect me like this should it??)  Any ideas?

The second part is more fun, but nothing to do with weightloss, but I figured since you were all fun and creative I’d give this a shot here.  I’m trying to come up with creative jobs my husband might have.  Background: he works for the goverment as a number man, but since everyone gets a glazed look on their face when he explains his job, he doesn’t anymore.  It frustrated him and he has no interest in boring people.  So I’m trying to liven things up, and save him some frustration.  I’ve tried to find an easy way to explain what he does…but it’s too complex…and honestly…boring.

Soooooo……we’re going to a wedding in a couple of weeks, and everyone will ask the old “So what do you do?” And I want to come up with as many creative and outlandish jobs as I can and try and see what I can make people believe he does, or at least say with a straight face.  So far I have:

Pool boy, elephant trainer, secret agent, assassin, grave digger, beautician/hairdresser…. and I’m serioulsy struggling to come up with weird and funny and outlandish jobs.  Heard of any?  Know of any?

Any ideas?  C’mon ladies…you’re the most inspirational and creative bunch I know….  :) ANY ideas would be welcome!!

BTW…yes.  I’m a freak.  And I’m proud of it!  :)

Hang in there!!! The TOM questions are good…but you may be a little frustrated with my answers..It has been my experience that as I loose weight and get stronger the cramps should get better. You may want to go see the doc and see whats up.

    Hope things get better!!!

I agree with Nyssa….my issues with missed periods seem to get better with weight loss, I would have it checked out just to be on the safe side..

for your hubby, how about a stripper?

How about pop star? Or a frog specialist? ;)

I’m right there with you on the TOM. My cramps were unbearable last month along with a migraine. Remember, I couldn’t do our challenge? I talked to my mom about it then and she seems to think that any change of lifestyle can really mess with hormones which in turn then messes with TOM. Also, my boss went off of BC about a year ago and they are telling her that her body is STILL having a hard time adjusting and that’s why TOM hits her with a vengence. But I gotta agree with the girls, get yourself to a doctor!!

Hmmm, jobs for Malc…I have some ideas, but they may be offensive to others reading your blog. I will get them to you through email later! Hehe

HEy, was going to take a nap but HAD to come here and write to you! As for TOM, your going off BC can def still pose changes - it can take 6 mos for your system to adjust. SOme people take the pill to curb all that pain, too. For me, all that stuff got worse as i got older. REgular weight loss shouldn’t make it worse, but excessive weight loss can really effect your cycle, your fertility, and your sx. Good to check with a doc. Also, sorry to day this, but caffeine can make everything hurt more during TOM. I know you love coffee, but those days you may want to cut back.
Now for hubby’s job, you already had all the good ones: swimsuit model? tampon tester? the poor guy that invited Airborne and is getting the pants sued off of him? that would make for interesting conversation. Entymology illustrator…LOL

ok, i’m just one big typo, i do need that nap - invented not invited. what about presidential candidate of the US. Or Fidel Castro’s successor???

Be ready that people might ask him to demonstrate his job skills. So don’t use a tap dancer or professional hypnotist. Or a matchmaker, stripper, etc…

Go with something safe and obscure.

Sex therapist, organist, roadie, female impersonator, rodeo clown, matador…
and it’s likely because yu went off BC. That always made it worse for me, but checking with Dr. is excellent suggestion.

Coming off the BC is probally the problem. For the 2nd question how about odor judger, furniture tester, fortune cookie writer or adult store attendent. Good luck!

you have to let us know what you decide - i LOVE all the ideas!!!!!

Definitely go to the doctor and ask about going off BC, cuz that is the most likely culprit!

A way to make cramps better though is to eat/drink more soy! I swear it works! If you have a cup of soymilk every day, you will notice a difference! :-)

And my vote is fortune-cookie writer!
